"I'm a nurse at SW Washington hospital and the picnics we've had at alderbrook have been the best family picnics we have ever had. It was like going on an all expense paid vacation courtesy of my employer. I'm so mad that we haven't been back in a few years. The food is always amazing. I can never believe how they can make such delicious food for a group of 6,000 people. Also all the employees were so nice and helpful. I have been trying to persuade my boss to take us back! Hopefully we'll have our company picnic there this coming year and I can only hope nothing has changed. The untouched beauty of Alderbrook is what makes it so special-- and they better have all their delicious food, the pink lemonade drinking fountains that my kids still talk about and the all you can eat free hot dogs. I wanted to thank you for the incredibly professional job you did this weekend with the ***** wedding. The scope of this 3 day event, on a venue as vast as Alderbrook put unexpected and very real demands on your team, which you rose to with grace and skill. Every challenge we encountered, you had a solution or you created one.
Melonie was a saint! There is no other word to describe her dedication and passion to exceed the guests expectations and show off Alderbrook to its potential. Everyone raved at how friendly and giving the staff was. We have a large family and we are thinking of events we can have there, it is such a beautiful place. We used to go there when you had a restaurant and enjoyed that very much, it was so unique, charming and different from the regular dine outs. I hope maybe in the future you might open one again. You have a lovely spot in the woods. Now that it's open to the public I hope many families enjoy it as much as we did and plan on many more! Janice
This afternoon we attended a birthday party at Alderbrook. It was outstanding! Imagine driving through the forest down country roads, sun shining. You come upon Alderbrook, park in the forest and walk up a hill. The park opens to a huge vista of well manicured field with tons of activities and surprises. A lake with 2-3 foot catch and release trout, swim pool, pirate ship, maze, several outbuildings for meetings and parties. Petting zoo, etc. The list goes on and my family had a great time. We can't wait to go back.
